Lalbagh Flower show 2006-2007

Visiting Lalbagh during the Flower show has been my favorite pastime since many years.
Lalbagh is a Botanical Garden in Bangalore spread over 240 acres.
Lalbagh Flower show is held at the Glass house in the garden twice yearly: once during Republic Day and the other time during Independence Day.
Will be sharing the Flower show themes that I have captured over the years (Will try to cover them all hopefully before the next show). I guess people who know me wouldn't be surprised if I wish to dedicate a separate blog for this alone :-P.

This is another attraction of Lalbagh, the White silk cotton tree, which is nearly 200 years old and one of the largest trees in Lalbagh. Few years ago there has been a fence built up around the tree to save it from Graffiti.

Several stalls related to art/craft works and agriculture are also put up during this period.
