The Department of Horticulture showcases biannual flower shows at Lalbagh for Republic day and Independence day. The year 2014 had a third show marking the Golden jubilee celebrations of Nurserymen Co-operative society Ltd., a wing of the Horticulture Dept. The show, a floral tribute to the Historical site Hampi, lasted for 3 days.
